It looks like Gamescom should be considered the “E3 redemption convention” because it looks like nearly every fault that came out of E3 2012 was corrected at Gamescom.

Dead Space 3 showed a bit better. The PlayStation Vita received a huge amount of attention. There was even numerous new properties being unveiled.

Capcom’s Remember Me is the most intriguing to me. It’s impressing me more than Sleeping Dogs simply because it seems further along than Ubisoft’s property.

Unfortunately — despite the attention it received — I’m not seeing a lot of PlayStation Vita titles that I want. Killzone: Mercenary and Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified are not what I want to play on a handheld nowadays and Media Molecule’s Tearaway looks so gimmicky.
