It’s only Monday and Sony have already made two key acquisitions. First they bought Gaikai, the on demand gaming service. If you haven’t tried out Gaikai yet, I encourage you fix that straight away. It works surprisingly well. Not perfect, but it’s a promising start. I think it’s a neat way to test out games.
Sony also acquired (or hired) Seth Killian. The former Capcom community manager was hired by Sony Santa Monica and will be lending a hand to Sony’s very own fighting/brawling game, PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale. I don’t know how much of his input they could realistically include before the game ships later this year, but the more input the better!
What a day for Sony.
