The Quirky Side of CES 2012

CES 2012 is over and last week I pointed out the big ticket item I was excited about: 55″ OLED HDTVs. But unless you have an interest in HDTVs, Ultrabooks and other tech of that nature, CES coverage can be pretty boring.

Thankfully there are sites like Tested.com who roam the show floor and check out the more obscure stuff like remote controlled balls and replica racing wheels for the enthusiasts.

This is the kind of stuff I appreciate from the “smaller sites”. I still like to hear their impressions on the big stuff on their podcasts, but this is kind of items that I would like to see on video.
