Update: It looks like the Code Veronica Wii-make will take shape in the form of another on rails shooter called “Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles”
Resident Evil: Code Veronica is my favorite “classic” Resident Evil game. (Classic referring to is the control scheme before the Resident Evil 4 shift.) Code Veronica started out on the Dreamcast and made its way onto the PlayStation 2 and GameCube, but that doesn’t appear to be enough. On March 12th, a day before Resident Evil 5 official launches, Capcom is set to reveal something concerning the Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
Perhaps it will be a remake for the Wii?
Capcom is no stranger to digging up their past successes and giving them new leases on life. However, if it is a remake, why would they choose Code Veronica? It’s fairly recent and still holds up. If any Resident Evil games need remaking, it would Resident Evil 2 and 3.
