Official: Xbox 360 Pro 60 GB Announced

With a new Xbox 360 Pro 60 GB coming, guess who’s getting pushed off the market? As predicted, the Pro 20 GB configuration will be cut down to $299.99 USD/CAD and will stay that way until stock runs dry. The new SKU will debut on store shelves sometime in August for $349.99 USD/CAD.

Let’s take a look how everything stands:

• Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB – $449.99 USD/CAD
• Xbox 360 Pro 60 GB – $349.99 USD/CAD
• Xbox 360 Pro 20 GB – $299.99 USD/CAD
• Xbox 360 Arcade – $279.99 USD/CAD

As things are, the Arcade configuration is a terrible choice for the consumer. Adding $20 and picking up a 20 GB model gives you a lot more value. Prospective owners: go forth and pick up the 20 GB before stock runs out. If you’re worried about RROD, perhaps you should consider waiting for the Jasper revision.
