This year’s Game Developers Conference (February 18-22) is shaping up to be quite the event. The most recent news concerning GDC states that Crysis and Far Cry developer, Crytek, will be demonstrating their engine and its prowess as a middleware solution. The demonstration will show the CryENGINE 2 running on the PS3, a XBOX 360 and a $600 low-end PC. I am not expecting vast jungles filled with lush vegetation, but I am expecting at least some scaled down jungles and jaw dropping interior renders.

I also hope they show off some of those CryENGINE 2 related ”secret technologies” they are supposedly working on for the PS3.
